I thought I would share this recipe that my mom passed on to me. I have actually made it for guests and they loved it. I am also submitting this to Shannon at

1 lb stew beef
1/2 stick of butter
1/2 small onion
1/2 cup ketchup
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 t vinegar
1/2 T dry mustard
1 t garlic
1 T brown sugar
dash of chili powder
Saute butter and onion in pan until lightly brown. Add rest of ingredients. Simmer 45 minutes. May add a little ketchup and water if too thick while cooking. Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.
*I actually recommend simmering in crockpot for several hours to make the meat more tender!
Enjoy!
